Women’s health (pelvic floor, bladder disorders, etc.)
Rachel graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) in 2020.
Rachel loves helping active people recover from sporting injuries and pain that is impacting their ability to workout in the gym, run, hike or play sport. Outside of work you’ll find Rachel playing netball, refereeing touch football, hiking, training in the gym, skiing or trying her hand at anything else active.
Rachel understands the physical and psychological demands of competitive sport, being an elite level touch football referee herself. She has recently made selection for State of Origin and World Cup Referee Squads.
Through her own personal journey as a sportswoman, and through helping numerous women with sports injuries, Rachel has developed a keen interest in helping women recover from injury and return to sport and performance throughout life. This had led her to seek further education in women’s health, where she is currently working to complete her Level 2 courses in early 2024. She plans to continue to up-skill in this area to further her knowledge in returning to sport postpartum and in treating incontinence, prolapse and pelvic floor related pain in woman of all ages.
